Ultimate Balance Update Released for Playstation All Stars Battle Royale

It may be a relatively old game (by today’s standards at least) but that doesn’t stop Santa Moncia Studios from releasing a patch to the multi-game-character fighting game Playstation All Stars Battle Royale.

Entitled the “Ultimate Balance Update” this update will attempt to address all of the gameplay balances and tweaks that fans of the game have been asking for as well as make some minor improvements to the overall gameplay experience, as Just–Tank Sant Monica Studios Community Strategist on the Playstation Forums explains:

PlayStation All-Stars fans, the ultimate balance update you’ve been waiting for, is finally here. With over 100 balance adjustments combined across all characters, and a wave of additional improvements, this update truly creates a new playing field for all challengers. We cannot thank you enough for your patience and continued roaring passion throughout the community, and especially our message boards right here. Over the past months we’ve read every word, clicked every thread, assessed the game balance inside out, to ensure as best as possible, this balance update would not only bring a superior new challenge to the game, but also feel heavily impacted by your voice. Thank YOU and our “hats off” to Super Bot Entertainment for creating an incredible fighting game for PlayStation fans world-wide. To download the PlayStation All-Stars update, just boot up the game, ensure you are connected online, and you’ll be automatically prompted to download the update. It’s rather large =)

That’s not all, as the 3rd costumes for both Zeus & Isaac (DLC Characters) have also been unlocked for use within the game, with the additional character content being permenately reduced on the Playstation Network Store.

The full list of patch notes can be seen on the Playstation Forums, with the update itself being available to download later today – in the meantime Playstatlion All Stars Battle Royale is now available for the PS3 and PS Vita.
