Xbox One To Allow Youtube Video Uploads Starting From Tomorrow

Xbox_One_Upload_Studio_Video_Edit

It has been confirmed that the new Youtube App, which is being released tomorrow, will allow Xbox One recorded game clips to be uploaded, thus further expanding the consoles uploading and streaming functionality.

Previously the only way to upload videos directly from the Xbox One console was to use the built in app Upload, but even this was restricted with the video length. However from tomorrow Xbox One owners will be able to use the updated Youtube App to upload saved videos to their Youtube Channel.

Despite being able to upload videos directly to Youtube the process can be relatively complex, for instance you will first need to record the video using the Game DVR, then you’ll have to edit the video in the Upload Studio and then finally you can upload your chosen video directly to Youtube by choosing the “My Uploads” button on the Youtube App. It may be a lengthy process, but it is a feature that Xbox One owners have been asking for.

That’s all as this update will also allow Xbox One users to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, add individual videos to your home screen Pins and earn Media Achievements.

The Youtube App for the Xbox One will be updated tomorrow (presumably by tomorrow afternoon) and the update will automatically appear once the youtube app has been started.
