It seems the Xbox One’s launch isn’t getting any smoother even after all of the PS4 issues (Blue LED’s, HDMI Issues and Battlefield 4 DDOS Attacks) as Microsoft and Twitch have confirmed that the live broadcasting system for the Twich App won’t be available for use until at least 2014.
“We are working to ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch community.
While this feature won’t be available right away, we’ll let you know as soon as it is ready. Our goal is to deliver it during the first part of 2014.
This means that anyone hoping to provide some “live broadcasting” right out of the box will have to wait until Twitch is fully up and running in 2014, however its assumed that the upload a video clip feature of the Xbox One will still be available for use on the consoles launch day.
The Xbox One will be released across Europe and America on the 22nd November 2013, however if you haven’t pre-odered already (and don’t want to spend serious money on eBay) you’ll have to wait until next year in order to get one.
