Two new gameplay features for upcoming PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, have today been revealed by publisher Namco Bandai Games- both of which offer something uniquely different to previous Dragon Ball Z games.
First up is Ultimate Jewel, an item that once equipped will allow characters to preform their ultimate move, such as Goku’s Spirit Bomb Attack or Teen Gohan’s Farther/Son Kamehameha wave. It’s also an item that will allow Frieza and Cell to ‘upgrade’ to their 100% forms. The ultimate jewel feature is similar to the ‘Capsules’ items found within Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, but will be a lot more in-depth.
The second new feature is Customisation, players can now customise their characters colour appearence to make them stand out in offline (and online) gameplay modes. It’s not just colours either, as players can customise their outfit style and upgrade their in-game statistics.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be released onto the PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita next year, with a release date to be confirmed within the coming months.
