Capcom has been busy with its Downloadable Content announcements for Resident Evil 6, as today Capcom revealed ‘Siege Mode’ a brand new online multiplayer mode, will be available for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2013, While Survivors, Predator and Onslaught modes, which were previously an Xbox 360 exclusive, will be released onto the Playstation 3 next month.
Siege Mode is the latest addition to the Resident Evil 6 Multiplayer lineup, and according to Capcom this gameplay mode features a single AI-Controlled BSAA Agent who is in need of some help from attacking enemies. Players will be splint into two teams, with one team assuming control of the BOW’s (i.e. Creatues) while the other team plays as BSAA Agents. Its up to the BOW’s to kill the rookie BSAA Agent, while its up to the BSAA Team to save him.
Unlike Survivors, Predator and Onslaught modes, Siege Mode will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in March 2013 and it will be priced at 320MSP/$3.99/€3.99/£3.19.
In addition to the new Multiplayer Mode, Capcom confirmed that Survivors, Predator and Onslaught modes will be released onto the Playstation Network Store (for the Playstation 3) in February 2013 with each mode individually priced at $3.99/€3.99/£3.19. Futhermore PC Players will be able to gain access to all of the DLC Modes shortly after Resident Evil 6 has been released on the 22nd March 2013.
