Capcom reveals new details regarding Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Including Release Date


Capcom has today revealed new details, as well as a new trailer, regarding the upcoming expansion to Dragon’s Dogma, entitled Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.

This next chapter in the Dragon’s Dogma franchise will be released onto the Xbox 360 & Playstation 3 in April 2013 in both digital and physical form, with the game being made available on 23rd April 2013 in North America and 26th April 2013 across Europe.

In Dragon’s Dogma players will be able to embark brand new quests, fight new enemies and even enter an underground realm, additionally players who played the first game will be able to ‘import’ their character into this latest game with all skills and equipment remaining intact.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will feature all of the content from the original game plus the following content:

  • A massive new underground realm to explore featuring over 25 terrifying new enemies
  • More skills/equipment/augments:
    o      Level 3 Skills
    – DD:DA provides each character class with a new tier of skills, giving players new devastating abilities and skills to master
    o      Over 100 pieces of new equipment
    – All new high level weapons and armor sets for players venturing into the underground caverns.
    o      14 new character/Pawn augments
    o       New tiers of equipment enhancement
  • And there’s more:
    o     Increased character customisation options
    o     Item appraisal
    o     Option to select Japanese voice over

Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen will be released in Europe on the 26th April 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The Game will be made available onto the Playstation Network Store for €29.99/£19.99 and it will be released onto the Xbox LIVE Games on Demand service in Summer 2013.
