Nintendo have today confirmed, via the Official Nintendo Website, that the Wii Mini, a smaller version of Nintendo’s popular Wii, is real and that it will be released ‘exclusively’ in Canada next week.
The Wii Mini, which features no internet-connectivity, a flip-tray disc loader and does not support GameCube Games or Accessories, will be priced at $99.99 and is exclusive to Canada.
For $99.99 you’ll receive a smaller, but redesigned, Wii console which features a Red trim and black top, with a Red Wiimote-Plus Controller, a Nunchuk Controller and a sensor bar.
Currently it is not known whether or not the UK, Europe or America will be treated to a ‘similar’ Wii Mini console, but with Wii prices falling rather quickly, even more so with the ‘soon-to-be-released’ Wii U, then its highly unlikely, but only time will tell.
In regards to the Wii Mini in Canada, then it will be released on the 7th December 2012, which is next week.
