Jak & Daxter HD Collection Announced for Europe


Naughty Dog has announced, via a post on the official Playstation Europe Blog, that the classic platforming duo Jak & Daxter will be getting their own HD Collection for the Playstation 3 and it will be released in Europe next february.

The news comes from Evan Wells, Co-president at Naughty Dog, who made a post on the official Playstation Bog stating that the High Definition Collection of Jak & Daxter will be released early next year.

The HD Collection will include all three of Jak & Daxter’s main outings on the Playstation 2, including Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2 and Jak 3. According to Evan Wells all three games are currently being remastered by Mass Media, who are working very closely with the team at Naughty Dog to bring the best Jak & Daxter experience to the Playstation 3.

The HD Collection will include remastered High Definition visuals which will offer smoother cinematic and gameplay visuals, additionally the games have been brought up to date with the inclusion of Stereoscopic 3D and PSN Trophy Support.
